Sunday 13th Sept saw a number of us take advantage of the beautiful weather and drive out to West Wight with a stop over at Fort Victoria.

Eileen Watkis

Members of the AACIOW will be deeply saddened with the passing of Eileen Watkis. Eileen had been struggling with ill health for some time and died peacefully at home with family members around her. Her funeral was attended by members of the club with 6 cars accompanying the funeral cortege.

We will all miss her and have many happy memories from the time spent with her. Colin and Eileen have supported the AACIOW and classic car events on the island for many years turning up in their beautiful green 1959 Cadillac , sometimes with Elvis singing along in the back seat. Our thoughts are with Colin and family at this very sad time.

We have been able to hand over a cheque for £440 to Isle of Wight Prostate Cancer Support Group. Despite not being able to have the Chale Show this year, we would like to thank all who still donated prizes and took part in the raffle. A big thank you to Ken and Jane for all their hard work and a special thanks to all the other island car clubs who took part. Thank you for your generosity.

2020 Dates.

Below is a selection of photos from 2019. Thanks for supporting the events and we hope to see you again in 2021.
